Following the success of our first AI-generated ad, we set out to push the boundaries further, this time with a higher budget and a high-profile title: Wordle! Our challenge? Create an AI-driven ad while staying true to the Wordle brand.


The project started with a script written by our producer, which formed the basis for my storyboards, created in Storyboarder. Once the script was approved, I developed an animatic in After Effects to refine the pacing.


Our producer then sent the materials to an agency for location scouting and casting. Once the live-action footage was delivered, Garrett Dare, my direct report, used AI tools to generate surreal video assets, enhancing the dreamlike aesthetic.


Throughout the process, I provided art direction and feedback, ensuring the AI elements aligned with our vision. The final ad was a top performer, driving a 10% lift over the previous best-performing Wordle ad.
